Bring your Mother Birding!
"Bring your Mother Birding" Walk at Kelley Point Park - Session One
Event Registration is closed.
Sunday, May 9th, 9-11 am - Kelley Point Park
Bring your mother birding for Mother's Day! Join walk leaders Thomas Meinzen and Ryan Gilpin for a morning of springtime birdwatching at Kelley Point Park, at the confluence of the Willamette and Columbia Rivers. Mothers and any others, of all ages, are welcome. Ryan and Thomas are both avid birders and plant-lovers, and are excited to share spring songbirds with you at one of Portland's best spots in peak spring bird migration!
If you have binoculars, we encourage you to bring them; if not, we can provide small disinfected binoculars and field guides to borrow for the walk.
Masks and social distancing are required. If you are not feeling well, please stay home and catch us on the next walk. Thank you!
Accessibility Notice: The main path at Kelley Point Park is paved and the restroom is wheelchair accessible. We may venture onto side paths that are smooth dirt but may have some tree roots. Unfortunately, Kelley Point Park is accessible by public transportation weekdays only.
